Our History in Child Care
Our journey began in 2013, as the first child care center in the Borough of Bernville. At that time we operated under the name of Horizons Child Care and Early Learning Services. After a successful 6 years at our Main Street location, we felt it was time to move to a building that better reflected the quality of our program.
Woodlands Academy of Early Learning was created in order to better demonstrate the core values or our program. We believe children thrive in nature and working with nature elements. They need an environment that is both calming and engaging in order to meet their maximum potential. We are proud to offer excellence in child care to members of the greater Leesport area.

" Absolutely the best daycare in the Bernville area. My school age grandchildren love the before/after school program. They are always provided a hot nutritious breakfast before school. They have their own bus to transport the kids to school. Homework is always done and the teacher checks the homework. The summer program is exciting and it has never been short of awesomeness! They are the only daycare I know in the area that take the kids to the pool and the library, they have daily field trips and are always exploring and having fun! The staff are always really nice and engage the kids. Highly recommended. "

Very friendly and professional and have really helped my son grow the past three years. He tells me nothing but good things about all the other kids here, as well.
